Washington Technology Industry Association: 2021 Technology Sector Role in Economic Recovery

High Peak Strategy LLC produced a comprehensive assessment of the tech sector’s increasing share of the Washington state economy and key role in the state’s economic recovery during both the 2009-2010 Great Recession and 2020 COVID-19 recession.
The report also assessed the many ways in which tech companies and tech workers have made significant contributions in support of vaccination drives, remote work and schooling solutions, small business platforms such as food order apps and online marketplaces, COVID-19 research, and philanthropy.
The report was prepared for the Washington Technology Industry Association in support of their ongoing advocacy on behalf of the tech sector in Washington state.
